LOVE YOURSELF FIRST
Everything has beauty but not everyone sees it.
This is the very reason why we remain trapped in a abusive relationship (could be mentally or physically). We dont believe that we are beautiful, acceptable to society or good enough because we have been brain washed to believe we are nothing. Beauty is not that perfect body ,perfectly applied makeup or that well manicured nails. Its the real stuff attached to you.
The beauty of a woman is reflected in her soul. It is the caring that she lovingly gives and the passion that she shows. The beauty of a woman grows with the passing years. Audrey Hepburn
Being unique is better than being perfect
Create your own uniqueness, don't dream about becoming like someone else, instead work and create a legacy that someday people would learn from you and enable them to be more of them self.
I’ll admit – I love unique, flawed, imperfect things. I prefer buying something in a different country or state and know that I am the only one that has it or even try and make it myself. I love homemade food over restaurant food. I don’t like I love visiting quaint coffee shops and delis, one of a kind with all the clutter surrounding the room. Imperfection at its best but perfect to me.
So why don’t we cherish these imperfections in ourselves? Our imperfect bodies or weird hairstyles, short legs, or hairy arms? I try to embrace the things that make me different and unique, even beautifully flawed, but it’s tough. I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to inspire you on this journey to embrace all your so called flaws and bring you back to reality.
So, get out there, be unique, be weird, love your differences and be you! “If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know how amazing you can be.”
1% improvement daily is all you need
If you get one percent better each day for one year, you'll end up being 1000% better by the time you're done. This is why small choices don't make much of a difference at the time but add up over the long-term.
Continuous improvement is a dedication to oneself by making small changes and improvements every day. These small improvements will add up to something significant. We should focus on continuous improvement by slowly and slightly adjusting our normal everyday habits, routines and behaviour.
It is so easy to dismiss the value of making slightly better decisions daily.
Reignite the joy in your life
Learning to love life, to let go, and harness your energy to positively deal with all.
Learning how to engage with joy and find happiness again is not impossible. In fact, it’s right at your fingertips.
Fear is the main culprit here, Fear of the future, fear of the past, fear of being vulnerable, alone, fear of change, fear of being hurt, fear of self-reflection, fear that stems from trauma, fear of personal faith, and even fear of success.
The first step to reclaiming your life is acknowledging this fear and forgiving yourself for it. Fear is an important survival mechanism. But when it’s allowed to spiral out of control, it can be very damaging.
